The Real Reason Tori Gifford shut down?

Tori Gifford, our cold case guru strikes again! It seems one of our commenters found the real reason Tori shut her Justice For Ayla blog down.

Here is the link: http://www.centralmaine.com/2014/10/01/massachusetts-man-pleads-guilty-to-augusta-home-invasion/

And here are the pertinent details!

Here is an arrest record, I think this is the same offense:

Now honestly, do you want this woman contacting other victims of crime?

Me either!!!

Thanks anon!!!

  1. This covers the separate Cumberland County arrest:

And no, I do not think this person should be contacting crime victims at all.

    1. Nor do I. Someone needs to let Patrick know about all this.

    2. I don't know if they are the same offense. There is a Kennebec County Superior Court sentence and a concurrent Cumberland County sentence? No matter...none of it is good!

    3. You mean she was arrested July 24, and then again on the 29 for the same thing? You gotta be kidding me!

    4. She was facing a possible three year jail sentence. That seems heavy. What did she steal? Drugs? Do people normally face 3 years for stealing a pack of gum?

    5. Me again. So it looks like a class C crime.

Class C Theft. The theft of property valued at more than $1,000, but less than $10,000, is a Class C crime in Maine. (Me. Rev. Stat. Ann. tit. 17A § 353(1)(B)(4).) A Class C Crime can result in incarceration in the Maine Department of Corrections for a period not to exceed five years, plus a fine of no more than $5,000. (§ 1252(2), § 1301-1A.)

    6. Who will tell Patrick? This should be posted on FFA, too.

    7. "...this will require me at times to build a rapport with some of the victims families..."

This is what I'm afraid of. Patrick needs to know what her "rapport building" entails.

    8. For Patrick...don't ask Jeff. Ask Trista.

Trista-Okay well I never asked for you to be apart of this and I really dont want you to be apart of the blog I dont want you having any information about MY DAUGHTER and you may not get money out of it but you do ask for money if I remember correctly you asked for money for your electricity bill.

    9. So Trista doesn't thank Tori for her help and actually wants her out of things, so Jeff draws her in? What is the real story between Tori and Jeff? Why is Jeff willing to overlook her ongoing crime spree? Will Katie speak out soon? Maybe Grace can reach out to her!

      Delete
    10. I don't think I will be reaching out to Miss Katie anytime soon. She has her nose up Jeff's butt just as far as Tori's is. I believe she holds information that while maybe won't shed light on Ayla's disappearance, would do a lot to show not only the true colors of Jeff Hanson and the Reynolds family, but the DiPietro's and Courtney Roberts as well.

The time for secrets is over. Unless Katie is willing to tell the truth, I'm done with her.

    11. What kind of power does Jeff hold over these women? I don't get it. It's not his looks.

      Delete
    12. Jeff holds zero power over me. Since the publicized fiasco with Grace, Jeff has shut me out of any "group" emails, except non important ones. As far as I'm concerned, Jeff can go to hell. This whole removal of J4A is disgusting and concerning to me. Why is he silencing good voices? Why is he making this choice? I wish I knew. Those of you who were with me at J4A - do you want a new forum? Does it still hold the same purpose this many years later? I am willing if you all are.

    14. Katie, was it Jeff's choice or Tori's to close it down? Tori stated it was hers on FFA. On J4A Jeff stated it was Tori's decision (but then why didn't she do it/announce it herself?) Did you have any input?

      Delete
    15. As far as I know it was Toris. I wasn't even informed until after it occurred. Actually, informed isn't the right word. I only found out when I tried to log in to post a guest post and was denied access.

      Delete
    16. Ok, because you implied it was Jeff when you asked why is he silencing voices and choose to shut the blog down. Sorry you got locked out like that!

  2. Didn't she say she knows she has a "past" but that she has since learned from it and it's the past? What a raging liar! While she's acting like a victim she's still stealing! Why would anyone trust anything she says? Why is Jeff OK with her? Now she's trying to hide her very public blog? Is she that stupid?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Wow, good to know. It makes past experiences make more sense.

  4. Did anyone alert Patrick to this? Let us know if you do!

  5. Any word on how Tori is taking all this good news? I haven't seen her defend herself anywhere........

Of course, they aren't discussing this at the friends blog or at the united blog. They must be trying to keep it under wraps.

  6. OT but not really. Here is what I don't get. Why doesn't Trista sue Justin for parental interference? He had her daughter last, and the police are clearly saying he is withholding information. It wouldn't interfere with the investigation, and Trista could depose whomever she wanted to get information that would help the cops. The cops can't force anyone to incriminate themselves, but just like grand juries, civil court rules are much different. If they refuse to comply they can be fined or jailed. 5th amendment doesn't apply, because it's not criminal. It is basically the same tactic as a wrongful death suit, it doesn't accomplish anything except to gain information about the death. And, anything brought out in the civil trial can be used in a criminal trial.

  7. Ten days after she was reported missing, the case became a criminal investigation.

Though there have been reports, confirmed by police in February 2012, of Ayla’s blood being found in the house, Love would not discuss specifics of the investigation or what evidence was found in the house that eventually led police to come to that conclusion.

Is the writer of this piece inferring the blood found is why it became a criminal investigation? If it is why didn't he include it in the same paragraph?

But there’s still hope. Reynolds said she dreams of the day when someone somewhere sends her a current photo of Ayla through the site.

“I wonder what she looks like,” Trista Reynolds said. “I’m sure her hair is longer and she has teeth coming in all over the place. Her eyes are probably even bluer than they were.”

Then why not do an age progression photo?

McCausland, who is the only law enforcement official making public statements about the case, has said that no one, including Trista Reynolds, has been ruled out as a suspect in Ayla’s disappearance. However, McCausland has said that investigators believe the three adults who were with Ayla on Dec.16 — Ayla’s father, Justin DiPietro; his sister, Elisha DiPietro; and his girlfriend, Courtney Roberts — know more about her disappearance than they have told police, including how Ayla’s blood wound up in the basement of the DiPietro home at 29 Violette Avenue.

Note after saying Trista was not ruled out as a suspect, the writer then adds However McCausland has said.

  11. From the same article as above.

Trista Reynolds said that although police haven’t confirmed it, she is not a suspect. She said part of the reason for that is that police have told her things about the investigation. In recent days, Reynolds has posted some of those details on a website her family is maintaining at www.aylareynolds.com.

The Bangor Daily News will not repeat the accusations made by Reynolds because they could not be independently verified.

“The police have told me I can tell people whatever I want about the investigation, but that they won’t back me up with it,” Reynolds said.

Yet when people ask questions about Trista they are called names and are considered pot stirrers. We are just suppose to accept whatever is said by Trista as fact and not ask questions. Like J4A we get shut down.

    ReplyDelete
  12. So I guess this means Trista you can say anything you want because no one can prove if your statements are true or false.

Well I am still on Ayla's side and you haven't been ruled out as a suspect yet.Gonna keep searching for answers from both sides.

  13. This is all I can find on the short press conference Trista was suppose to hold in the small park across the street from the court house. I was told by Jeff H. that it would be a Question and Answer session about the evidence Trista released in TC4A.

Trista Reynolds, Ayla’s mother, held a short press conference outside the courthouse before Justin DiPietro’s appearance before the judge. She called attention to her dissatisfaction with the investigation of the case of her missing daughter.

“I’ve lost some faith in the state police,” she said, adding that she wasn’t contacted by police after she went public Monday with information on the investigation of Ayla’s disappearance.

No report anywhere of the questions and answers about the evidence revealed.

Just the chase scene and name calling at Justin in the street.

  14. FFA thinks discussing gruesome things like moving and hiding dead bodies is going to help LE find Ayla and is respectful to the familes. They're OK with talking about gory things but OMGNOBACKOFFTRSITA if someone asks a question about her.

    1. Yeah, that's really Ayla awareness, isn't it?

    2. Don't get me wrong I think the three have a lot of questions to answer and their statements need to be proved also.

The thing is they only have asked what Trista did with Ayla. I think they should show how they think she can be responsible for that and back up their suspicions.

      Delete
    3. Respectfully, why? They made their accusations directly to Trista. Why should they show US, the public, anything? I'm sure Trista knows why they suspect her.

      Delete
    4. The thing is they have said they don't know who took Ayla.Like I said they have only asked, if they were to start publicly accusing Trista of kidnapping and want LE to arrest her on that charge I would need proof before I would believe it.

I agree I am sure Trista knows why they suspect she may have.

    AUGUSTA

Thursday at 5:46 p.m., two people were arrested by police responding to a shoplifting complaint at Kohls on Stephen King Drive. Tori L. Gifford, 36, of Waterville, and Anthony B. Nigro, 35, of Vassalboro, were each charged with theft and violating conditions of release

  17. According to this it could become a felony when 2 or more people work together to steal from a store. Every time Tori is arrested her boyfriend is ripping people off with her. WE pay the price in the store's with higher prices because of people like this. Pitiful people.

  19. Tori Gifford just got out of jail again in 2023 for theft at Walmart in South Portland Maine. She spent a year and Wyndham correctional center in Windham, Maine. for theft at Walmart from 2017 to 2018, both her and her boyfriend Anthony steal from all the Home Depot’s Walmart and other expensive stores and sell their products on eBay to afford vehicles pay their rent go out to eat and buy expensive cookies online she’s currently on probation. Neither one of them have worked since I’ve been together for like 25 years have a teenage daughter and it’s ridiculous that they raised her this way. Her son is currently facing prison time Andrew Giffin for shooting a gun at a college in Waterville she’s a bad person they still constantly from these expensive stores by the way they are banned from but sneak in anyway and continue the same thing as of 2023 her boyfriend Andrew nigro also was charged, but somehow the court overlooked his charges unless he turned her in she has been stealing her whole life and gets caught every now and then. She claims that she and Andrew knew and hung out with a father. I don’t put it past to have done something to that child, not sure Tori told her or asked her would you kill a kid for me says he says shock value yeah right
